How we decide what is worth going to.
WorthGo is built to help a person make a real decision: where should I go, given my time, budget, interests and location? We combine public research with editorial judgement and make the useful trade-offs visible instead of pretending every place is perfect.
1. We start with real places
Our inventory contains restaurants, tiffin centres, cafés, shops, landmarks and experiences. We classify them by venue, food, meal, experience, area, budget and typical time so the same place can be useful in different situations.
2. We cross-check sources
Research can include official tourism or venue information, Google review signals, established local guides, travel publications and other relevant public sources. We record a research source and verification date in the underlying dataset where available.
3. We explain the trade-off
Why go tells you what makes the place useful. Why skip tells you when it is a poor fit. Budget and duration help you judge whether it works for the day you actually have.
4. We do not manufacture reviews
WorthGo does not claim that it personally visited every place or invent user reviews. Review ratings and counts are treated as external signals where present, not as WorthGo-authored reviews.
5. We keep changing information honest
Prices, menus, opening hours, ratings and availability can change. A verification date is not a promise that a detail will remain unchanged; it tells you when the research was last checked.
6. What WorthGo is not
We are not a replacement for Google Maps, restaurant booking, delivery or official venue websites. Use WorthGo for discovery and decision-making, then verify time-sensitive details before travelling.
